ROSS, CA
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Ross, CA resides a centuries-old house that is anything but traditional. A true collaboration, this project was envisioned alongside Polsky Perlstein Architects. They redefined the confined floor plan introducing large openings in the kitchen and living spaces to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. We were tasked to reimagine the home's interior in a fun and whimsical way. Our client's innate sense of style and wanderlust encouraged us to infuse a bit of the English countryside in a playful manner. This allowed us to flex with color and pattern play which we combine with more traditional moldings, doors, and casings. The result is an aesthetic where old meets new and rustic meets refined, all with a little sense of eccentricity and charm.
